The Kubernetes platform
for everyone.
Our Story
Founded by former Uber engineers Debo Ray and Rob Fletcher, DevZero was created to tackle the inefficiencies of large-scale Kubernetes environments - such as wasted resources, unreliable CI pipelines, and unclear costs.
Drawing on their Uber experience, they built tools that use telemetry, machine learning, and automation to optimize usage and reduce waste. What started as a developer workflow solution has grown into a platform for large-scale Kubernetes optimization, helping teams run faster, leaner, and with greater visibility.

Our mission is to unlock developer potential by removing obstacles that waste time and cause frustration. We value smart people, reject bureaucracy and outdated norms, and focus on enabling talent. DevZero has hubs in San Francisco and Seattle, plus remote team members, with a hybrid model that balances flexibility and collaboration.
We believe the best teams are inclusive, as diverse perspectives and experiences lead to better work and products. Homogeneous teams risk blind spots and missed opportunities. That’s why our team is intentionally designed for inclusion, and diversity, equity, and inclusion guide how we hire, compensate, promote, develop, and manage.
